The year is 2015.
The strain of DNA mutation that causes superpowers in normal humans had increased by 75% come the year 2008. Nobody knows why, not even the worlds top scientists could come to a formal understanding. Overwhelmed by his new "threat" to National Security, metahumans and mutants alike were rounded up by the dozen and sent to live in "camp cities". Supervillains, now more a problem than before, were handled by the United Nations Militia that was formed shortly thereafter. The UNM, however, could not stop all the chaos. Thus, the superheroes were called into action, fighting the superhuman threat with promise of a newfound alliance with the humans. No such luck.

In 2010, a young metahuman rights worker by the name of Adam Cutter led a peaceful revolution right up to the steps of Washington. His leadership was crucial in the signing of the Landscape-Metahuman Reconstruction Act, which allowed for non-humans to build in their "camps". Still, nothing was really changed. Then he was assasinated.

The first all-nonhuman school, Stanbridge Academy, was the first of its kind.

It is where our two heroes, Bryy and Graham, first met. It is where the story begins.
